Hockey Night In Canada!

For all of our Canadian readers, tonight is special. The return of Hockey Night In Canada, and what a way to kick things off. Toronto plays host to Montreal, in what should be a great game. Obviously Mats Sundin will not be in the line up, and Jeff O'Neill is very doubtful. His shoulder did get examined yesterday, and the injury is nothing more than a bruise, which is good news for Leaf's fans. Can Michael Ryder keep his scoring streak alive tonight? Should be a great game.

Lots of good games to watch tonight, one that could be interesting is Ottawa and Buffalo. Hasek will play his former team in the Sabres, who are red hot. The Sabres have outscored their opponents 10-5 in their first two games, and Ryan Miller has been great. I heard a rumour that Biron will start in net tonight, but I cannot confirm this.

The Crosby watch continues, as Sid the Kid looks for his first NHL goal. The Penguins are in Boston tonight. Both teams are looking for their first win of the season. The Caps and Thrashers meet in a rematch from last night, and Carolina looks to win their second straight game, when they play on the road against the Islanders.

Can Jagr continue to put points on the board? Tonight will be his biggest test so far, when the Rangers travel to New Jersey to face Brodeur and the Devils. The Devils allowed 5 goals last night against the Flyers. In another rematch of last night, the Bolts hope to get some revenge against the Panthers. Luongo looks for his third straight shutout.

The Blues and Sharks play each other tonight, and one of them will get their first win of the season. The Sharks are off to a disappointing 0-2 start. The Ducks' look to continue their winning ways when they play in Nashville against the Predators. Colorado looks for their first win against Dallas, and Vancouver and Edmonton battle in Edmonton. Chris Pronger and Mike Peca are both still looking for their first points as Oilers.

Finally, The Great One continues to search for his first win as a coach. The Coyotes are at home tonight against the Wild. The Coyotes should have some more speed tonight, as Nagy and Sjostrom will both be in the lineup after being activated from the IR. Don't forget to make your game predictions in the forums! TMcCoy now has the lead with an 18-9 record! I am also considering making this a game with a prize at the end, so make sure to participate every day!

Thats all for now! Check back tonight for a full recap of all of the nights games. Make sure to check out hockeyleaks.com, because it is updated Daily with standings, and league leaders. Fantasy stats should be up tomorrow, hopefully around 1 PM. Email me at cjohnson202@hockeyleaks.com, I love getting questions and I'll respond as quick as I can! Enjoy your Saturday night!
