Craig Conroy!

Craig Conroy is the Hockeyleaks Player Of The Night for Oct.19/2005. Though he has struggled early on for the Kings, he broke out last night with four points, including the game winning goal. Other's considered included Gaborik, who had two assists in his season debut, and Alexei Yashin, who had two points in the Islanders 3-2 Shooutout win over the Rangers.

Eklund reported this morning that Owen Nolan could end up with Phoenix. Don't get too excited yet, Coyotes fans, as I've heard a few other teams have shown serious interest in the veteran winger. The most likely destination for Nolan? San Jose. They have the cap room, and would love to add him to their roster. Nashville is another team that has inquired about Nolan.

Kris Draper will wear a visor full time, after he suffered an eye injury last week. Sundin, who is still several weeks away from returning, says he will try one, but he isn't sure if it will stick. George Laroque could be traded by the Oilers once Smyth returns. When Smyth will return is a mystery, as his injury is being kept very quiet.

Colorado has already declined options on Joe Sakic and Rob Blake for next season, making both UFA's next summer. I can hear the Toronto rumours already...

Remember, all the new articles, power rankings, etc will be up tonight. I'm doing the Power Rankings as I type this. Hockeyleaks.com for all the latest. Enjoy your Thursday.
