A Look Around The League

Lets just take a look at the four games that went on/are still going on around the NHL tonight. We'll start in Washington, where the Caps beat the Lightning 3-2 in a shootout. Zubrus led the way for the Caps, with a goal and an assist. Ovechkin added an assist. Lecavalier and Prospal both scored their fourth goals of the season.

The Wild upset the Ducks tonight, winning 4-1. Marc Chouinard may be the Hockey Leaks player of the night tonight, as he had three assists, but not so fast, his teammate Todd White also had three assists. Things are going well for the Wild early on. Fernandez got the win in this one.

The Kings continued to play well, beating the Blue Jackets 3-1. Visnovsky had two assists for the Kings, while Zherdev scored for the Blue Jackets. It was his first goal of the season. If this team is going to succeed, Zherdev will have to score more goals than he has been.

Final game of the night is Dallas at Vancouver. Vancouver currently leads 2-0. Daniel Sedin and Sami Salo have the goals for Vancouver. Auld is in net for the Canucks. This game is still in the first period.

Jeff Jillson was sent down to the AHL by Buffalo. I remember when he was with the Sharks he was really good, how times have changed. Guys like Delmore and Jillson could still turn out to be good defenseman, and I wouldn't be surprised if both were back in the NHL soon. Thats all for now, remember to check hockeyleaks.com for the latest, and email me at cjohnson202@hockeyleaks.com, I do answer every question, even the really dumb ones...
