Oilers Stay Undefeated

Two late games I missed last night, so here they are!

The Oilers continued to play well, beating Anaheim 4-2. Stoll, Pronger and Hemsky all had two assists. Selanne and Perry each scored for the Ducks, while Torres scored two for the Oilers. Reasoner and Dvorak also scored for Edmonton, who is now 3-0.

The other game last night was Calgary and Colorado. The Avs beat up on the Flames, winning 7-3. Svatos led the way for Colorado, scoring three goals and an assist. Wolski also played well for Colorado, scoring a goal and two assists. Amonte had two goals for the Flames, and Phaneuf scored his first NHL goal, along with his first NHL assist. The Flames continue to struggle, now sitting at 1-3-0.

Got something here for our Leafs' fans. Quinn was quoted late last night as saying the following..."Whether it was pond hockey out there or not, you need big saves to win games and (Belfour) did that," "But we've got two guys sitting with their fingers in the wrong place." For those who are slow, he is referring to Belak and Berg. Both could sit tonight against the Flyers.

Steve Yzerman will be back on Thursday, Kovalchuk could return on Wednesday to play Montreal. Remember to check Hockeyleaks.com often, as new features and articles are added all the time! More To Come Later...
