How About Those Rangers?

The New York Rangers continue to play well, and seeing as I was the only one in the Powerplay Fantasy League to take Jagr, am I the only one who thought this could happen? I don't think it will last, but picking up Hossa and Rucinsky has really paid for the Rangers. Jagr had two goals, while Rucinsky had three assists, and Straka had two helpers. Hossa had an assist as well. Lundqvist gets the shutout for the Rangers. Rangers easily beat the Panthers 4-0.

Detroit took one in overtime tonight, beating the sharks 4-3. Samuellson scored his team leading 5th goal of the season, while Jason Williams continues to impress with his 8th assist of the season, putting him two short of Forsberg's league leading 10. Fischer scored the OT winner for the Wings, who now have a record of 6-1. One other game tonight, and it's scoreless in the 2nd period. Phoenix vs. Calgary, I predict Phoenix will win.

Martin Havlat received a five game suspension for a kicking incident over the weekend. I great article by the Ottawa media is posted in the forums, it's worth the read.
