Leafs and Habs Are Tonight's Winners!

We'll start in New York, where the Habs hit NHL Defensive Player Of The Week Henrik Lundqvist for three goals, and added an empty netter to win the game 4-1. Steve Begin had a goal and two assists for the Habs, while Jagr scored the Rangers' lone goal. Sundstrom, who had been struggling so far this season, had a goal and an assist.

In Toronto, the Leafs rebounded from a tough weekend loss and beat the Panthers 2-1. Gary Roberts scored his first goal of the season against his former team, just 26 seconds into the game. Darcy Tucker responded for the Leafs to tie the game, and Ponikarovsky scored mid-way through the third to give Toronto the lead. Belfour played great, stopping 31 of 32 shots.

Not many rumours floating around right now. Something that isn't a rumour, the Leafs are going to make a trade very soon. Sundin, Czercawksi and Antropov will all be back by the weekend, which means Wilm, Kilger, and Wellwood could be without spots. This is something to watch over the next week or two.
