Good Morning

Lets go over the three late games, shall we?

The Avs beat the Oilers 5-3. After a hot start, the Oilers are struggling with a 3-6-1 record. Svatos and Laaksonen each had two points each for Colorado, while Torres scored twice for the Oilers.

Nedved scored in OT, lifting the Coyotes over the Blues 5-4. Johnson, Leclerc, and Nagy all had two points, while Comrie led the way with three. Mayers led the Blues with two goals. Leneveu was in net for the Coyotes, and it is likely Boucher or Joseph will be dealt when they are both healthy to give the rookie goaltender more playing time.

Finally, the Kings continued to play great hockey, beating the Ducks 3-1. Giguere missed another day due to his groin injury. Cammalleri, Robitaille and Conroy all scored for the Kings, while McDonald scored for the Ducks. Labarbera got the win for the Kings.

Player of the night? Mike Comrie, who had three points in his return. He was benched earlier in the week by the Coyotes, and responded perfectly.

Huge trade last night! Phoenix traded Rick Berry to Nashville for future consideration. I am hearing the Penguins are talking to a lot of teams about a lot of players. After 9 losses in a row, something has got to happen in Pittsburgh. Thats all for now, more later...
